Change in Charitable Status
At the Special General Meeting held on Thursday 18th April, members voted unanimously to agree the change to convert Rottingdean Heritage to a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation), effective from May 1st 2024. The CIO removes the problem of personal liability for the Trustees and gives much more flexibility in developing the society in the future.
Membership of Rottingdean Heritage will continue and members will have the same rights as at present. We will contact all members in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition to the new organisation. Full details are given here.
