Rottingdean Heritage is now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation or CIO.  The transfer of activities and assets from the old unincorporated society to this new legal structure took effect on 1 May 2024.

The CIO has the same objectives, will have the same responsibilities, and will be carrying on the same activities, as the old Society.  The trustees and other volunteers who selflessly give their time to the Charity also remain the same.  In short, nothing except the legal structure has changed.

Members of the old Society should have received a letter from the membership secretary explaining the simple steps they need to take to transfer their membership to the CIO in compliance with GDPR.  Any member who has not received this letter should email membership@rottingdeanheritage.org.uk or write to the Membership Secretary, Rottingdean Heritage CIO, The Green, Rottingdean BN2 7HA.
