Celebrating the Nicholson Family at The Grange

The launch builds upon a series of special exhibitions hosted by Rottingdean Heritage at The Grange Gallery, celebrating the artistic legacy of the Nicholson family.

The series began with the William Nicholson Exhibition in 2022, followed by the Mabel Pryde Nicholson Exhibition in 2024, which brought renewed attention to her extraordinary talent. Most recently, the E.Q. Nicholson Exhibition in 2026 explored the work of another gifted member of this remarkable artistic family.

Through these exhibitions and the new dedicated website, Rottingdean Heritage continues to celebrate the Nicholson family’s lasting connection to the village and its rich artistic history.

We invite you to visit mabelprydenicholson.org.uk to discover more about Mabel’s life, paintings and legacy.
