About This Event:
We’re so pleased to invite you to share our centenary celebrations with us over the weekend of 6th and 7th July. Our award-winning Grange Garden was designed 100 years ago by Gertrude Jeykll assisted by her colleague Edwin Lutyens.
On Saturday 6th July at 10.30 am there will be a talk in the Whiteway Centre by Caroline Ikin, author and Jekyll historian from the National Trust’s Munstead Wood.
In the garden itself there’s a flower show, and an art workshop.
At 5pm the Copper family will entertain you with local folk music.
On Sunday 7th July, from 11am there will be a craft fair in the front garden run by Gertrude’s Garden Gallery.
On both days there will be a plant stall, a wonderful exhibition of photos from the garden archive, children’s activities and live music.
Plus of course scrumptious tea, coffee, cakes and ice cream from the tea garden cafe. We do hope you can join us in this celebratory weekend.
