Gerdie was a popular young student. She studied the arts at Weimar and, at 20years of age, had landed a job at a top fashion house in Hamburg. For Gerda Rosenstein the future held excitement and much promise…but this was 1930’s Germany. Amanda Rosenstein Davidson tells the early life of her mother in paintings, illustrations and photographs.
