Volunteers Information Day
On Saturday 29th January we had a very enjoyable and informative day with a large contingent of our volunteers & stewards who spent the afternoon in the Whiteway Centre (the Grange was in the process of being redecorated) being updated on all the latest from RH. But it wasn’t just a one way street as we gathered a great deal of information and feedback from the attendees on how we can improve their experience and in turn the visitor experience for all of our visitors and guests to The Grange and the Windmill.
Video Tour of Peter Ind “Where is the Sun” Exhibition
Dr Sue Jones has recorded a guided tour of her late husband’s retrospective exhibition “Where is the Sun” which runs in the Grange Gallery until February 26th. You can watch it on our revamped YouTube Channel along with other archived videos. Held in the newly revamped Gallery and spread over both the main gallery (West Room) and the North Room it truly is a wonderful way to start what will be a momentous year for art in The Grange.

We intend to offer this facility to all future exhibitors who want to avail themselves of this wonderful technology. It enables our supporters who may live away from the village (of which there are more than you might think), or who maybe can’t make it to The Gallery, to enjoy a virtual experience in the comfort of their own home.

As a valued site member you get to hear about Exclusive RH Members events here first, and although they have yet to be announced in detail, here are some evening dates that you might want to pencil in for later on in the year: Friday 17th June and Wednesday 13th July. Keep your eyes on your inbox for more information. We know it’s a while away but believe us when we say it will be worth it!

As ever we have been busy in and around the village making sure that we keep the good people of Rottingdean and our visitors up to speed with all things “Heritage”. During a rather inclement day in early January we spend a morning putting up our latest notice board…
