In a letter received on 22nd January 2021 Ms Jean Talbot our Vice President was given the disappointing news that our request for Historic England to list The Quaker Burial Ground in their List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest, had been refused.

Jean said that it was “Very disappointing but not, I fear, unexpected and a bitter pill to swallow after so much effort”.
